Questions

What do you send to your server?

Only the web addresses. Your document is read in your browser. We return the status and do not keep your links or results.

Why does a link show “needs login”?

Some sites answer 401 or 403, or redirect to a sign-in page, or block automated checks. The link may be fine for a person, so check it yourself.

Can it check private or internal addresses?

No. Localhost, private networks and internal hosts are blocked on purpose so this can never be used to probe anyone’s network.
