Questions
Does my text get uploaded?
No. Detection, hiding and restoring all happen in your browser. PasteSafe makes no network request containing your text. We only count a run with a tool name and size bucket.
Will it catch everything?
It finds common patterns reliably, but names, addresses and company secrets look like ordinary words. Review the highlighted text and hide anything else yourself.
What if the AI changes a placeholder?
Restore matches placeholders like [EMAIL_1] regardless of case or inner spaces. Anything it cannot match is left as-is so you can spot it.
